Description

Machai Canal is a part of the Upper Swat Canal System which was commissioned in 1914. It irrigates vast land tracts in Mardan and Swabi Districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province.

As soon as Sarhad Hydel Development Organization (SHYDO) invited tenders for the new proposed 2.6 MW Power Station on Machai Canal at Alo Village near Katlang Town in Takht Bhai area, District Mardan, Al-Fajr joined hands with a renowned Civil Construction Company M/s. Shaheen & Sons and submitted their bid to SHYDO. The bid has been accepted by SHYDO and the project signing is awaited now.
