HYDROPOWER PROJECTS IN NORTHERN AREAS

M/s. AL­-FAJR International (AFI), entered into an agreement for Supply, Erection, Commissioning and Test Running of Turbo Generating Sets for Hydel Projects in Northern Areas with Northern Areas Water & Power  Department, Gilgit-Baltistan involving 10 Sites (15 Turbo Generating Sets) in 2005. AFI successfully completed the assigned contract with collaboration with M/s. Zhejiang Jinlun Electromechanic Co. Ltd. China, our Partner in Hydel Power Projects.  The total contract was completed in 2009 and now Power Houses are running quite satisfactorily.  A 100% Completion Certificate was also issued by the Department.  NAMES OF THE PROJECTS:  Gilgit Region

2. 2X100   KVA  THORE, CHILAS.
3. 2X781   KVA  SINGUL, GHIZER.
4. 1X1250 KVA  HARAMOSH, GILGIT.
5. 2X750   KVA  GUPIS, GHIZER.
6. 1X1063 KVA  PARI, GILGIT.

Baltistan Region

1. 2X625   KVA  SERMIK, SKARDU.
2. 1X1250 KVA  TOLTI PH-II, SKARDU.
3. 2X1250 KVA  BURDAS BALGHAR, GHANCHE.
4. 1X725   KVA  HOO, SHIGAR, SKARDU.
