Exchange for the Rural Areas

To improve the communication network of the country, it was decided by the Government of Pak to provide communication facilities in the rural areas of Punjab, Sind, and Baluchistan. Al-Fajr International Islamabad while representing M/s JS Telecom France, signed a contract on turnkey basis in 1993, for the supply, installation and commissioning of 6500 lines small digital exchange in the rural areas of Pakistan. Project started in 1994 and was fully completed in 1996. These services and equipment were provided to PTCL (Pakistan Telecommunications Corporation Limited)
